Bp. Asante Marfo-Ahenkora, is the Managing Director and CEO of Tri-Star Insurance Services. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) United Kingdom & Ghana and a Chartered Insurance Broker.
He is a product of the Business School, University of Ghana, Legon; having graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Insurance Option) and an Executive MBA (Project Management).
He has over twenty-five (25) years of experience in insurance operations. Prior to joining Tri-Star, he held a Management position in Ghana Union Assurance as Manager in Charge of Liability & Marine.
In that capacity he managed the company’s Public, Product and Employer’s Liability, Professional Indemnity and Marine Cargo lines including claims adjustment and interacted with both brokers and the public at large. Before then he was a Superintendent in Charge of Motor Claims. In that role he supervised underwriting and claims adjustment and settlement functions at Ghana Union Assurance.
As Managing Director, Rev. Marfo-Ahenkora is the Principal Broking Officer and is responsible for the overall growth and profitability of Tri-Star Operations.
Asante is currently the President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana and an ordained and licensed Minister of the International Charismatic Church Inc. He is also the immediate past President of the Ghana Insurance Brokers Association.
